Deanna Burkett, 200 RYT

Deanna Burkett teaches yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. She received her 200-hour yoga certification from Kripalu in 2007, where she personally experienced the deep, transformative effects of yoga. Also a mental health professional, in 2010 she began teacher training for the evidence-based program, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), offered through the University of Massachusetts Medical Center’s Oasis Institute. She has been teaching MBSR since 2013.

Laura Conners, 500 CYT

Artist and co-owner of Split Cedar Studios, Laura Conners has been a yoga practitioner since 1994, and teaching since 2007. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Cityoga of Indianapolis, IN and her 500-hour certification through the Mindfulness Yoga & Meditation Program at Spirit Rock Center of California in 2012. Laura teaches Hatha yoga with an emphasis on mindfulness, a practice that combines breath awareness and movement to increase flexibility and strength, promote greater ease and concentration, and create relaxation and balance in the body and mind.

Jamie Douglas, 200 RYT

Jamie Douglas fell in love with yoga in her early 40s.  As a mental health and addictions therapist, yoga has been her personal therapeutic sanctuary.  She completed her 200 hour training with Ahna Hoke at Invoke Studio in Indianapolis and is a certified instructor of Y12SR (Yoga for 12-step recovery).

Wayne Jones, 200 CYT

Wayne has practiced yoga and Pilates for several years, and occasionally offers meditation and hot yoga at the studio. He received his yoga teacher training in Shambhava Yoga™ at Shoshoni Yoga Retreat.

Gretchen Lightfoot, 500 RYT

A Yoga Alliance RYT-500, Gretchen Graham Lightfoot trained with Carmen Fitzgibbon, Thomas Taubman & Gigi Snyder of YogaWorks in Los Angeles. Gretchen has extensive teaching experience, including one-on-one work with private clients. Originally from Montgomery Co., Gretchen holds a BA in Classics from IU Bloomington and previously  worked as a nonprofit fundraising professional in LA, San Francisco & Boston. Music figures predominantly into Gretchen’s classes, which are a little different every time. In her spare time, Gretchen is an avid hiker and reader. She looks forward to returning to her Hoosier roots.

Jeanne Servais, 370 CYT

Jeanne has been practicing yoga since 2006 and teaching since 2009.  She loves the creativity and possibilities offered by yoga.  Considering herself “always a student,” she continues to study the significance of movement for whole body wellness and loves to share this with her classes. Jeanne has received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training  with Shambhava Yoga™ at Shoshoni Yoga Retreat and has taken advanced training through Shoshoni and Yoga Tune Up®. She is a licensed Yoga Tune Up® instructor.
